Civil engineering is the second-oldest and evergreen engineering discipline. The countries' ever expanding infrastructure demands highly skilled labour from this discipline. It applies scientific and engineering principles involving building structures, soil mechanisms and foundation , transportation, environmental, irrigation and fluid mechanisms. As a civil engineer you will be trained to plan, design and executes such projects. It is traditionally broken into several sub –disciplines including architectural engineering , environmental engineering , geotechnical engineering, control engineering, structural engineering etc.
